number of male literate = (35/100) * 2,50,000 = 87,500

number of female literate = (8/100) * 2,50,000 = 20,000

difference = 87,500-20,000 = 67,500

% of male literate = 35%

% of female literate = 8%

difference = 35- 8 =27%

ans = (27/100) * 2,50,000 = 67,500
