In all the companies taken together, number of :
Assistant engineers = 150 + 350 + 200 + 250 + 150 = 1100
Junior engineers = 100 + 100 + 150 + 250 + 250 = 850
=> Required difference = $$\frac{1100 - 850}{5} = 50$$
