What is the difference in the amount estimated by the family on Electricity and cell bill ?

Solution

Amount estimated on electricity = (19/100)*32000 = Rs. 6080

Amount estimated on cell bill = (6/100)*32000 = Rs. 1920

Difference between both bills = 6080-1920 = Rs. 4160

(METHOD II)

% difference in electricity and cell bill = 19-6 = 13%

Estimated difference = (13/100)*32000 = Rs. 4160
