Question 63

A coin is tossed four times. What is the probability of getting 'head' in the first two tosses?

Solution

If a coin tossed ,chance of getting a head is$$=\frac{1}{2}.$$

If a coin tossed 4 times then probability of getting two head is$$=\frac{2}{4}=\frac{1}{2}.$$

So, required probability=$$\frac{1}{2}\times\frac{1}{2}=\frac{1}{4}.$$

C is correct choice.
