A, B and C can run around a circular path once in 252 seconds, 308 seconds and 198 seconds respectively. If they start running from a point simultaneously, after what time will they meet again at the starting point?

Solution

They will meet after time taken by them which is most common to their individual time taken by them.

So, required time =LCM(252,308,198).

252=2×2×7×9.

308=2×2×7×11.

198=2×9×11.

So, LCM(252,308,198)=2×2×11×7×9=2772 sec.

So, required time is 46 min 12 sec.

A is correct choice.
