Expression : ( 52.02^{2} - 34.01^{2}) $$\div$$ 17.99 $$\times$$ $$\sqrt{?}$$ = 1720

= $$(52^2 - 34^2) \div 18 \times \sqrt{?} = 1720$$

= $$\frac{(52 - 34) (52 + 34)}{18} \times \sqrt{?} = 1720$$

= $$\sqrt{?} = \frac{1720}{86} = 20$$

$$\therefore$$ ? = 20 * 20 = 400
