A parallelogram PQRS, the length of whose sides are 8 cm and 12 cm, has one diagonal 10 cm long Ile length of the other diagonal is approximately:
Area of parallelogram$$=\frac{1}{2} (diagonal 1)×(diagonal 2)$$
It is also equal to product of its sides i.e$$=l\times b$$
hence
$$\frac{1}{2}\times d1 \times d2=l \times b$$
given d=10
l=8
b=12
$$\frac{1}{2}\times 10 \times d2=8 \times12 = 19.2$$
