Solution
Number of students enrolled in institute A in 2009 and 2010 =170+270 = 440
Average = 440/2 = 220
Number of students enrolled in institute B in 2011 and 2012 = 160+200=360
Average = 360/2 = 180
Difference between averages = 220-180 = 40
Option B is the correct answer.
