Consider the given question and decide which of the following statements is sufficient to answerthe question.
Which of these natural numbers X, Y, Z, U, and V are even numbers?
Statements:
1. X, Y, Z, U, and V are consecutive numbers.
2. Z is an odd number.

Solution

From the statement 1 we get only information about consecutive numbers , which can be even or odd both but combining statement 2 we get information about which number is odd . 

So both statement are sufficient together
