The bar-graph given below, shows the number of tickets sold by 6 students A, B, C, D, E ans F during a fair. Observe the graph and answer the questions based on it.

The average number of tickets sold equals

Solution

Total tickets sold $$=  16 + 8 + 20+ 24 + 14 = 89 $$

Total number of students = 6

The average number of tickets sold $$ = \frac{16 + 8 + 20+ 24 + 14}{6} = 14.83 $$

Option B is correct.
