Solution

Each number is divided by 5 and then 5 is subtracted

12000 $$\div 5 - 5$$ = 2395

2395 $$\div 5 - 5$$ = 474 $$\neq 472$$

474 $$\div 5 - 5$$ = 89.8

89.8 $$\div 5 - 5$$ = 12.96

12.96 $$\div 5 - 5$$ = -2.408

-2.408 $$\div 5 - 5$$ = -5.4816
