Let the given number be x

Sum of 15% of x and 20% of x =$$\frac{15x}{100}+\frac{20x}{100}$$ = $$\frac{35x}{100}$$

$$\frac{35x}{100}$$ = 126

x = 100*126/35 = 360

1/3 rd of a number = 360/3 = 120
