Q sits third to the left of M. M does not sit in the middle of the sides. Only one person sits between Q and R. R is not an immediate neighbour of M. T faces the centre. K is not an immediate neighbour of R.

Question 193

Which of the following pairs represents the persons seated in the middle of the sides who face each other?

Solution

Q sits third to the left of M. M does not sit in the middle of the sides, => M sits at one of the corners and face outside while Q sits at the sides facing inside.

Only one person sits between Q and R and R is not an immediate neighbour of M, => R sits at the sides, 2nd to the right of Q.

S and T faces the centre and K is not an immediate neighbour of R, => K sits at the corners, i.e. to the immediate left of Q. The only vacant side is taken by T.

P sits third to the right of S, => S sits between K and M and P sits to the immediate right of Q. The only vacant corner left is filled by L, i.e. to the immediate left of T.
