Total number of children pursuing dancing from all the states together
= 22.5 + 22.5 + 25 + 27.5 = 97.5 thousand
Total number of children pursuing painting from all the states together
= 15 + 12.5 + 32.5 + 17.5 = 77.5 thousand
=> Required difference = (97.5 - 77.5) thousand
= 20 thousand
