Question 184

# If all seven plays are held in the alphabetical order of their names starting on Monday and ending on Sunday, the positions of how many will remain unchanged as compared to the original schedule ?

Solution

Only two plays will be held after play G, => Play G was held on Friday.

Only two plays will be held between play F and play G, => Play F was held on Tuesday.

Only three plays will be held between play B and play E. Play B will not be held on Sunday,

=> Play B was held on Wednesday and Play E on Sunday.

Also, Play was held before C and D, whereas D was held before C, => Play A was held on Monday, D on Thursday and play C on Saturday.

The arrangement is :

If all the seven plays were held in alphabetical order i.e., A on Monday , B on Tuesday , C on Wednesday and so on.

Then, position of only 2 plays i.e., Play A and D will remain unchanged.

=> Ans - (E)
