M, D, J, Q, T, F, H and N are sitting around a circle facing at the centre. T is third to the right of F who is second to the left of M. Q is not a neighbour of T or F and is third to the left of H. J is second to the right of N.

Who is to the immediate left of M?

Solution

T is third to the right of F and M is second to the right of F.

Q is not a neighbour of T or F and is third to the left of H, => Q sits opposite M and H sits to the immediate right of F.

J is second to the right of N, => N sits to the immediate left of Q and J sits to the immediate right of Q.

The only vacant place is taken by D, i.e. opposite to F. The arrangement :

H is sitting to the immediate left of M.
