Ranjith got two times as many sums wrong as he got right. If he attempted 48 sums in all, how many did he solve correctly?

Solution

Let say, he got right x numbers of sums.

So, he got wrong =2x.

So, (2x+x)=48

or,3x=48

or,x=16.

So, A is correct choice.
