In a class of 25 students. Lata’s rank is 13th from the top and Parul’s rank is I 9th from the bottom. If Vishars rank is exactly between Lata-s and Parul’s rank what is Vishafs rank from the top ‘?

Solution

NOTE :- Rank from top + Rank from bottom = Total members + 1

Lata's rank from top = 13th

Parul's rank from bottom = 19th

=> parul's rank from top = 25 + 1 - 19 = 7th

Vishal's rank is exactly between them

=> Vishal's rank from top = $$\frac{13 + 7}{2}$$ = 10th
