Each vowel of the word ADJECTIVE is substituted with the next letter of the English alphabetical series, and each consonant is substituted with the letter preceding it. How many vowels are present in the new arrangement?

Word - ADJECTIVE

Vowels are replaced by next letters, i.e. A is replaced by B , E is replaced by F , I is replaced by J and so on.

Consonants are replaced by previous letter, i.e. B is replaced by A , C is replaced by B , D is replaced by C and so on.

=> New Word = BCIFBSJUF

There are 2 vowels present in the new arrangement = I & U

=> Ans - (C)
