Is 'EAST' the word formed after performing the following operations on a word containing these four letters ?
I. There is only one letter between A and T. E is to the left of A.
II. The word does not begin with T. There is only one letter between E and S. T is not an immediate neighbour of E.
I : There is only one letter between A and T. E is to the left of A.
=> Possible outcome = E A _ T
The missing place is filled by 'S' and the word becomes = E A S T
Thus, I alone is sufficient.
II : The word does not begin with T. There is only one letter between E and S. T is not an immediate neighbour of E.
=> Possible outcome = E _ S T
The missing place is filled by 'A' and the word becomes = E A S T
Thus, II alone is sufficient.
