Solution

Let the number of Rs. 10 notes = $$x$$

=> No. of Rs. 20 notes = $$2x$$

=> Amount of Rs. 10 notes = Rs. $$10x$$

Amount of Rs. 20 notes = Rs. $$40x$$

Acc. to ques,

=> $$10x + 40x = 3250$$

=> $$x = \frac{3250}{50} = 65$$

$$\therefore$$ Total number of notes that he has = $$x + 2x$$

= $$3x = 3 \times 65 = 195$$
