What is the ratio between the number of female employees working in companies P, Q and W in 2009  and that of male employees working in companies P,Q and R in 2010 ?

Solution

Number of female employees working in companies P, Q and W in 2009 

= 325 + 362 + 298 = 985

Number of male employees working in companies P,Q and R in 2010 

= 282 + 295 + 278 = 855

=> Required ratio = $$\frac{985}{855} = 197 : 171$$
