Solution
Total population of state A for all the years together (in millions)
= 15 + 25 + 30 + 30 + 40 + 45 = 185
Total population of state B for all the years together (in millions)
= 20 + 30 + 35 + 45 + 45 + 50 = 225
=> Required ratio = $$\frac{185}{225}$$
= 37 : 45
