Solution

The pattern here followed is :

16 * 1 - 2 = 14

14 * 2 - 4 = 24

24 * 3 - 6 = 66

66 * 4 - 8 = 256

256 * 5 - 10 = 1270

1270 * 6 - 12 = 7608
