Solution

The pattern here followed is :

12 * 0.5 + 0.5 = 6.5

6.5 * 1 + 1 = 7.5

7.5 * 1.5 +1.5 = 12.75

12.75 * 2 + 2 = 27.5

27.5 * 2.5 + 2.5 = 71.25

71.25 * 3 + 3 = 216.75
