Question 110

A and B started a business investing amount of Rs 1,50,000 and Rs 2,50,000 respectively. What will be B’s share in the profit of Rs 1,60,000 ?

Solution

ratio of money invested by A to money invested by B = $$\frac{150000}{250000} = \frac{3}{5} $$

The profit sharing will also be in the same ratio.

Thus, profit share of B = 160000 x $$\frac{5}{8}$$ = Rs 1,00,000
