In each of the following questions a number series is given. After the series a number is given followed by (a), (b), (c) , (d) and (e). You have to complete the series starting with the given number, following the sequence of original series and answer the question that follows the series.
Solution
$$13 = (4 + 9) \times 1$$
$$40 = (13 + 7) \times 2$$
$$135 = (40 + 5) \times 3$$
$$552 = (135 + 3) \times 4$$
$$2765 = (552 + 1) \times 5$$
Similarly,
$$(2 + 9) \times 1 = 11$$
$$(11 + 7) \times 2 = 36$$
$$(36 + 5) \times 3 = 123$$
