Total Girls: 800
Percentage of Girls in courses
Solution
Total number of students in course D = 35% of 1200 = 35 * 12 = 420
Number of girls in course D = 30% of 800 = 30 * 8 = 240
So, number of boys in course D = 180
So, required ratio = 3 : 4
