Solution
Number of students who opted for English in 2006 and 2008 together = 25000 + 30000 = 55000
Number of students who opted for Hindi in 2005 and 2009 together = 5000 + 20000 = 25000
Ratio = $$\frac{55000}{25000}$$ = 11 : 5
