Total amount spent on sports during the year = Rs. 30,00,000
% amount spent together on cricket and hockey = (25 + 15)% = 40 %
=> Total amount spent on Cricket and Hockey together was = $$\frac{40}{100} \times 30,00,000$$
= $$40 \times 30000 = Rs. 12,00,000$$
