Question 5

In a rhombus, the length of the two diagonals are 40m and 30m respectively. Its perimeter will be

Rhombus has all sides equal and their diagonals bisect each other perpendicularly :
So, Length of each side of rhombus = $$\sqrt{\dfrac{\ d_1^2+d_2^2}{4}}$$
                                                     = $$\sqrt{\dfrac{\ 20^2+15^2}{4}}$$
                                                     = 25.

Therefore, perimeter of rhombus = 4(l) = 4x25 = 100
