Considering given statements as true, select a logical conclusion based on the given statements.

Question 46

Statements:
Lady's Finger is tastier than cabbage
Cauliflower is tastier than Lady's Finger
Cabbage is not tastier than peas

Lets, look at the statements analytically and codify them.

Lady's Finger is tastier than cabbage : $$LF>Cb$$
Cauliflower is tastier than Lady's Finger : $$Cf>LF$$
Cabbage is not tastier than peas : $$Cb≯P$$ : This statement implies that $$Cb\le\ P$$ ; which means Cabbage can be equally as tasty as peas, or Peas can be tastier than Cabbage.

However, conmbining the first 2 inequalities we can most definitely say $$Cf>LF>Cb$$ which means Cauliflower is definitely tastier than Cabbage. So Option D we can very surely conclude. For the other conclusions there is some doubt , as we get 2 choices for the relationship between peas and cabbage, so definitely we cannot conclude anything.
