When the given image (X) is folded into a cube, the square with the dot becomes the front vertical face. 

The two shaded triangles fold up to form the left and right adjacent faces of this dotted face. That means, in the final cube, we should be able to see the dot on one face and the two shaded triangles on the sides.

If we look at the options:

In Figure 1, the dot is clearly visible on one face, and the shaded triangles are on the adjacent faces. This matches perfectly.

In Figure 2, the arrangement is again correct—the dot is on the front, and the shaded triangles are on the sides.

Figure (3) is not correct because it doesn’t show any shading or dot.

Figure 4 is also incorrect, as it shows a completely dark top face without the dot.

Hence, the boxes similar to the X are 1 and 2 only.
