Given below are two statements :
In class 'X' of 30 students, 24 passed in first division; in another class 'Y' of 35 students, 28 passed in first division.
Statement I : Class 'X' has more percentage of students getting first division.
Statement II : Both classes have equal percentage of students getting first division.
Percentage of students with first division in class X $$=\dfrac{24}{30}\times100=80\%$$
Percentage of students with first division in class Y $$=\dfrac{28}{35}\times100=80\%$$
Thus, both classes have an equal percentage of students with first division.
Therefore, Statement I is false, Statement II is true.
