The sentences given below, when properly sequenced, form a coherent paragraph. Each sentence is labelled with a number. Decide on the most logical order and enter the sequence of numbers in the space provided, for e.g., 1234.
(1) In a recent incident, villagers in a tea estate were shocked to find a leopard cub in a trench.
(2) The cub was then taken to the area where she was discovered and reunited with her mother.
(3) The 12,500 leopards in India stray into villages due to their shrinking habitat.
(4) The wildlife vet examined and declared it to be uninjured but dehydrated.
Sentence 1 introduces a leopard cub which had possibly fallen in a trench and was probably injured. We can infer from the word 'trench' that the cub must have been taken to the vet and only after the examination would've set free to be reunited with her mother. The sequence of these sentences, most sensibly, should be 142. Sentence 3 is still left to be placed, 'in a recent incident' in 1 can be said to be serving as an example to the problem introduced in sentence 3, we can say that sentence 1 should follow 3. The correct sequence therefore, should be 3142.
