Question 49

Kindly choose the appropriate word for connecting the following sentences.
(I) The milkman in my neighborhood likes to talk to his customers.
(II) He provides them milk in every morning.

Here, Statement 1 describes the milkman's habit of talking to customers, and statement 2 describes his daily work of delivering milk.

Of the choices given, "while" (option D)  is the best fit, as it connects these two actions simultaneously.

"even if: (option A) implies contradiction, which is illogical here; "in addition" is used when we need to add information. Although here we are adding information, but "in addition " doesn't show simultaneous action, which is what is happening here. "rightly"(option C) is an adverb, not a conjunction, so it essentially cannot connect sentences.

The correct sentence is therefore:  "The milkman in my neighbourhood likes to talk to his customers while he provides them with milk every morning," which means "while"(option D) is the correct choice .
