IBPS RRB examination is held by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) every year to select candidates for different posts in Regional Rural Banks (RRB) all throughout the country. It is one of the most sought after career options in the Banking field. The online exam for RRBs for recruitment of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be held by the IBPS.

A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or Bhutan
(iii) a Tibetan Refugee (with the required conditions)
(iv) a person of Indian origin in other countries (following required conditions)
18-28 years
Candidates should have not been born before 02.06.1990 and later than 01.06.2000 (both dates inclusive)
ST/SC Category: 5 years
OBC Category: 3 years
PWD Category: 10 years
Widows/Divorced Women: 9 Years
Ex-Service Men: Period of service+3years
(Age relaxation is also available for some other candidates).
The candidates has to produce the relevant proof for age relaxation while interview or document verification process.
The candidates must have got degree in any discipline from a recognised institute and should have local language proficiency
There will be sectional cutoff in the mains exam. You can take the test in either English/Hindi Language.
Penalty or Negative marking is 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in both prelims & mains exam.
Exam duration is 45 minutes.

For IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose clerk) the in-hand salary will be around Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 17,000.
