Neeraj purchased a few shirts for his shop at cost prices ranging from Rs. 400 to Rs. 550 and sold at prices ranging from Rs. 450 to Rs. 650. What is the maximum profit that might be made in selling 10 shirts?

Solution

Cost price rangers from Rs. 400 to Rs. 550

Selling price rangers from Rs. 450 to Rs. 650

Now for maximum profit, cost price should be minimum & selling should be maximum

CP=400 {1 shirt}

For 10 shirts CP=4000

SP=650 {1 shirt}

For 10 shirts SP=6500

Profit=6500-4000=2500
