Increase of sales in store P in 2011 = 20% of 80 lakhs = (20/100) × 8000000 = Rs. 16,00,000
⇒ Sales in store P at the end of 2011 = 8000000 + 1600000 = Rs. 96,00,000
Decrease of sales in store P in 2012 = 20% of 9600000 = (20/100) × 9600000 = Rs. 19,20,000
⇒ Sales in store P at the end of 2012 = 9600000 - 1920000 = Rs. 76,80,000 = Rs. 76.8 lakhs
∴ The sales amount of store P in 2012 = Rs. 76.8 lakhs
