How to download XAT Admit Card 2024?
Here’s a simple guide to help you download your XAT 2024 hall ticket without an
- Go to the official XLRI Jamshedpur website.
- Look for the “Login” tab and click on it.
- Enter your XAT User ID and Date of Birth (DOB) as required.
- Once logged in, find and select the hall ticket section.
- You’ll see the option to download your XAT 2024 admit card displayed on the screen.
- Click the download button and save the XAT admit card as a PDF file for easy access.

- Timing:Â The XAT 2024 examination will be conducted in a single shift. The exam session is from 2.00 PM to 5.30 PM.

- The XAT exam lasts 3 hrs 30 minutes, during which candidates will be required to answer multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

XAT 2024 : Exam Day Guidelines
Admit Card Requirements
- Two Hard Copies:Â Ensure you carry two printed XAT 2024 admit card copies. Affix a recent passport-sized photograph in the designated space on both copies. Your signature should only be done in the presence of the invigilator.
- Valid Photo ID:Â Alongside the admit card, carry a valid photo ID proof for verification. Acceptable IDs include PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc.
Reporting and Exam Conduct
- Reporting Time:Â Candidates must report to the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the XAT 2024 exam.
- Commencement of Exam:Â No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall once the test has begun.
- Duration and Seating:Â Candidates must remain seated for the entire exam duration. Leaving the seat before completion of the test time is not allowed.
Examination Hall Protocols
- Arrival Time:Â It is advised to arrive at the examination centre at least one hour before the specified exam time.
- Fair Examination Policy:Â Any attempt to indulge in malpractices during the examination will result in immediate disqualification.
- Late Entry:Â Candidates won’t be allowed to enter the test centre once the gate closes.
Prohibited Items and Essentials
- Restricted Items:Â The exam hall strictly prohibits items such as calculators, Bluetooth devices, and eatables. Only a transparent personal water bottle will be allowed.

Documents to Carry with XAT Admit Card
The candidate is advised to carry the following documents.
- Printout of XAT 2024 Admit Card.
- Passport-sized photograph.
- Aadhar / Passport / Driving License / PAN Card / Voter ID. Any government ID with a picture and name.
XAT Exam Pattern
- The exam is being conducted online every year.
- Another section comprises GK and an Essay that follows the first section.
- Marking Scheme:Â Each correct answer will give one mark, and -0.25 will be given for each incorrect answer. Also, the exam taker can leave up to 8 questions. Beyond eight questions, -0.10 gets deducted.
- The exam is therefore conducted for a total of 3 hr 30 minutes.
- Part 1 for 175 minutes, Part 2 for 5 minutes, Part 3 for 30 minutes

Part II

(This test does not test your typing skills. This was introduced only to test the functionality of keyboard. Before 2022, there were issues in the keyboard during the on course of Part-3: GK and Essay Writing Section at various test centres across India. Hence, this section was introduced in order to stop any future inconveniences.)

Candidates will have a total of 25 minutes to complete the examination. Furthermore, it is worth noting that there will be no negative marking for Paper 2.
