Let daughter’s age = $x$ years

=> Mother’s age = $2x$ years

Thus, father’s age = $(2x+10)$ years

=> Brother’s age = $(2x-20)$ years ————(i)

Also, brother’s age = $(x+5)$ years ———-(ii)

From equation (i) and (ii),

=> $2x-20=x+5$

=> $2x-x=20+5$

=> $x=25$

$\therefore$ Father’s age = $2(25)+10=60$ years

To see her shadow, she must be facing west (the sun must be behind her). Let she starts from point A. Thus, the path of her morning walk is :

Let Rahul start from point A and travels 10 km towards East to reach point B, then he takes left turn and travels 3 km towards north point C. Expression : (30+20)-5(7÷3) x 25 = ?

$\equiv(30-20)\times5(7+3)\div25$

= $10\times\frac{5(10)}{25}$

= $10\times2=20$

Price of 48 kgs of another variety of rice at x per kg = 48x

As there is no profit or loss,

(60) (32) + 48x = (108)(28)

40 + x = 63

x = 23

Hence, option C is the correct answer.

The pattern followed is that in groups of 4, the term ‘PQQR’ is repeated.

The pattern followed in each letter of the terms is :

1st letter : D (+1 letter) = E (+1 letter) = F (+1 letter) = G

If we interchange 532 and 779 then, according to the BODMAS rule,

$\equiv5\div1-9\times7+142$

= $(\frac{5}{1})-(9\times7)+142$

= $5-63+142=84$

In each column, the number at the end is the sum of 1 and product of first three numbers.

Eg : $(2\times4\times3)+1=24+1=25$

and $(1\times2\times6)+1=12+1=13$

Similarly, $(5\times3\times2)+1=30+1=31$
