In the 1st case 2 is multiplied with 16 to get 32 similarly in the second case a number has to be multiplied with 16 to get 384 and so the required answer is 384/16=24.

In the 1st case 11 is multiplied with its next prime number i.e 13 and so 11*13=143 similarly we should multiply 23 with 29 i.e 23*29=667 if we think that 11 is multiplied with its next odd number and we should multiply 23 with 25 and we get the answer as 575 and it is not present in the options.

In the 1st case 5 is multiplied with its 2 adjacent numbers i.e 4 and 6 we have 4*5*6=120 similarly we should multiply 7 with its adjacent numbers i.e 6 and 8 we have 6*7*8=336

**17) Answer (B)**

In the 1st case 33 is divided by 3 and then 3 is subtracted from the result and so we get 8 as the answer. In the 2nd case similarly 24 is divided by 3 we get 8 and then 3 is subtracted from it and so we get 5 as the answer.

In the 1st case it is (124/4)-1=30 similarly in the 2nd case we have (332/4)-1=83-1=82
