Solution

Circumference of circle = $$2\pi\ r$$

Circumference of circle when radius increased by x = $$2\pi\ \left(r+x\right)=2\pi\ r+2\pi\ x$$

Hence, circumference of the circle increased by $$2\pi x$$ units.
