1 to 12 years = $$\frac{2}{3}$$
1 to 8 years = $$\frac{3}{4}\times\frac{2}{3}=\frac{1}{2}$$
9 to 12 years = $$\frac{2}{3}-\frac{1}{2}=\frac{1}{6}$$
