The following diagram represents the survey results on two brands of chips conducted on a sample size of 50 customers. Based on the figure, how many liked none of the two brands of chips?

Solution

Let A be B1 brand and B2 be B brand.

$$A\cup B=A + B + A\cap B$$

$$A\cap B=A + B - A\cup B$$

$$=25+20-5 = 40$$

So number of people who dont like any of the brands = 50-40 =10

Option E is correct.
