Divide 13,680 in three parts such that $$1^{st}$$ part is 3/$$5^{th}$$ of the third part and the ratio between $$2^{nd}$$ and $$3^{rd}$$ part is 4:7. How much is the first part?
Let the third part be x
Then , 1st part = $$\frac{3x}{5}$$ and 2nd part =Â $$\frac{4x}{7}$$
According to the question,
$$x+\frac{3x}{5}\frac{4x}{7}=13680$$
$$\frac{76x}{35}=13680$$
$$x=6300$$
Hence, 1st part =Â $$\frac{3\times\ 6300}{5}=3780$$
