The base of a triangle is half the base of a parallelogram having the same area as that of the triangle. The ratio of the corresponding heights of the triangle to the parallelogram will be:
area of triangle=$$\frac{1}{2}\times\ b\times\ h$$
area of parallelogram=B$$\times$$H
Given that the base of triangle is half of the base of parallelogram
($$\bf \frac{1}{2}\times \frac {B}{2}\times h $$ = B$$\times$$H)
($$\bf \frac {h} {H} = \frac {4}{1}$$)
Hence the ratio is 4:1.
