Solution

let mp = Rs 100, after deducting 5% commision, means Rs 5, the discounted price of that item will be Rs. 95

If discounted price is 95, then the marked price is 100

If discounted price of TV set is Rs 9595, then its marked price has to be

95 = 9595

so,

100 =10100

= Rs. 10100

Thus the marked price of TV set is Rs 10100
