Question 19

N invested Rs. 20,000 in a business. Six months later, C joined him with Rs. 10,000. At the end of the year, the profit was Rs. 10,000. What should be the share of N?

Solution

Ratio of investment N and C respectively = $$12\times\ 20000:6\times\ 10000=4:1$$

Share of N = $$\frac{4}{5}\times\ 10000=8000$$.
