or, Side of the square field = $$\sqrt{Area of the square field}$$

Given, Area of the square field = 196 sq. m.

So, Side of the field = $$\sqrt{196}$$ m.

or, Side of the field = $$\sqrt{\left(14\right)\times\left(14\right)} m=14 m.$$

So, it's each side is 14 m.
